What started as a "single particle of an idea" on a train bound for Kyoto, Japan, has quickly transcended and morphed into forming the DNA for the entire VHS label. At the heart of this project is the Japanese idea of Takumi 匠, focused around perfecting every part of a given process and becoming a master over time.
In an ode to "One Hundred Views of Edo", Hiroshige 1856-1859, and "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji", Hokusai 1830 - Eighteen Views of Kuitpo Forest is centred around eighteen unique iterations of our beloved single vineyard Gewurztraminer over the course of many vintages to come.
From a train of thought in the mountains of Hakuba, to a vineyard in Kuitpo, our Eighteen Views of Kuitpo Forest project is truly a crescendo moment in our bourgeoning ascent. It's been the light at the end of the tunnel for some time now and we're incredibly thankful to be able to finally show it to the world.
